Taoufik has been with Bridges since the very start. A teacher of both English and Arabic as foreign languages, Taoufik is one of the very pillars that this center was built around. Taoufik not only captured the minds and hearts of all his students, he has been instrumental in training many of the teachers at Bridges as well. He is a mentor to his colleagues and students, but never slows down in his own journey of learning and self-improvement. In fact during his tenure at Bridges, Taoufik went through a Masters then a Doctoral program in Teaching Arabic as a Foreign Language. Taoufik loves to travel, and has visited at least 12 countries. Two of those trips were leading Bridges student Bridges students in the USA.

Bouchra has been teaching at Bridges for almost 14 years. An incredibly caring and dedicated teacher, she specializes in teaching Young Learners. Thanks to her approach that lovingly combines fun, hard work, and lots of creativity, she has instilled the love of the English language in the hearts of generations of Bridges students, laying the foundation for them to continue learning English. Bouchra is great at arts and crafts, cooking and baking. She brings all these talents from the outside world into her classes at Bridges, which adds to the fun, wonder and creativity.

Michelle has been teaching at Bridges for over ten years. She is a dedicated English teacher who loves helping students gain confidence and have fun with the language, all while using it to unlock new opportunities. With a Masters in TEFL, and teaching experience in Morocco, France, and Senegal, she brings a global perspective to her classes. At Bridges, she enjoys the creativity and flexibility in her approach, often incorporating games into her lessons. Recently, Michelle has been creating her own learning games, sharing the fun with both her students and family. Outside of teaching, she enjoys hunting down amazing children's books and trying new crafts.

Basma recently celebrated her 10th anniversary teaching at Bridges, a place that has shaped her personal and professional life in every amazing possible way. A fun-loving, high-energy teacher, she enjoys playing games with her students, involving them in creative activities, and having meaningful conversations with them. She is also an English university professor and researcher with a deep passion for language teaching and education. She holds a Doctorate in Languages, Cultures, and Communication, along with a background in TEFL and Gender Studies. In her spare time, she likes to bake- something she often does with her students as well.

Teaching English isn’t just a job for Hajar—it’s something she’s truly passionate about. As a CELTA-certified teacher, Hajar prepares students for IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC, and FCE exams, helping them build confidence and achieve their goals. She works with both teens and adults, always striving to make learning engaging, practical, and effective. Hajar believes that “students don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.” That’s why she focuses on creating a supportive environment where students feel motivated, comfortable, and ready to improve.

Laila is a CELTA certified teacher of both English and Arabic as foreign languages. Of her 14 years of teaching experience, about 10 have been with Bridges, teaching both children and adults. Laila’s approach is to create a positive learning atmosphere that fosters creativity, curiosity and kindness. A testament to her excellence as a teacher is her adult students asking for her year after year! In her spare time, Laila loves traveling and hiking. One of her most outstanding accomplishments is climbing to the top of Mount Toubkal!

A teacher and university lecturer with a PhD in sociology, Adiba approaches language learning by highlighting its role in building relationships and navigating diverse cultural contexts and real-world situations. Drawing on years of academic research and teaching experience, she creates dynamic, engaging, fun and inclusive learning environments where students are encouraged to explore language as a tool for connection and self-expression. On a personal note, Adiba enjoys intellectual exploration and cultural narratives, which she weaves into her classes through stories, perspectives, and thoughtful discussions. With a strong interest in social transformation, she aims to foster vibrant spaces where language comes alive through critical thinking, storytelling, and genuine connections—showing that learning can be engaging, insightful, and still full of laughs (especially when playing games or accidentally inventing a few new words along the way!).

Aicha is a CELTA and TEFL certified teacher who's passionate about teaching English as a foreign language. For almost eight years, she’s made it a mission to create an environment where her students feel valued, heard and encouraged. Her classroom is a thought-provoking, safe space where her students can make mistakes, express themselves and above all learn and practice their English. With a background in Linguistics, Aicha believes that correct grammar and pronunciation are just as important as writing and vocabulary. Besides being a teacher, Aicha is a loving friend, a good sister, and a bookworm.

Abdelmoughit has a way of combining high energy fun and a zen-like approach to teaching. One of his favorite things to do with students is to get them to think critically about the world around them, and to use their creative skills to express their ideas. His warm smile and willingness to listen to his students makes him a favorite among all age groups. Abdelmoughit is an adventurer at heart, and one of his favorite things about teaching is that it’s not a 9-5 job. When not in the classroom, he can be found on the waves, in the mountains, or on the road.

Yasser is a CELTA-certified English teacher. The warm relationship and rapport he has with his students, kids, teens, and adults alike is something he holds dear. With over five years of teaching experience at Bridges, and a background in Cultural Studies, teaching and transmitting knowledge has become his lifestyle. Making learning enjoyable and fun is one of his main principles. Aside from teaching, Yasser is a traveler at heart, an amateur artist, and a water sports enthusiast.

Abdelilah is a certified English teacher with years of experience in both private and public education. He completed a one-year vocational training program in TEFL at ENS, Rabat, and holds a master's degree in Teaching Arabic as a Foreign Language. He loves creating a fun, safe space where every student feels encouraged to explore and learn. Abdelilah’s favorite part of teaching is witnessing those ‘Ohhh, now I get it!’ moments—pure magic. When he’s not teaching, Abdelilah is either lost in a book, kickboxing, or lifting weights—passions that keep him disciplined and energized.

Ibtissam’s love for teaching started when she used to accompany her grandfather to his school, inspiring her to pursue a career in education. Ibtissam aims to cultivate critical thinking by encouraging her students to discuss ideas, question concepts, and think independently. She enjoys challenging herself with puzzles, riddles, and crosswords, often using them in her lessons to inspire curiosity. Ibtissam is super creative. In her free time, she makes scented candles! She also paints, listens to podcasts, and reads books on psychology and personal growth.

Laila san has been teaching Japanese at Bridges for over five years. Her love of the Japanese language and culture are evident in her teaching. Her classes combine conversational Japanese, reading and writing in Japanese and lots and lots of culture. From calligraphy to sushi-making, Laila san’s students are truly spoiled! Laila san is a stellar teacher, but her background is actually in biology. She runs an expertise office that certifies food and cosmetic products.

Born and raised in Morocco, Raouia has been teaching English for years, both in Morocco and abroad. At 32, Raouia has mastered the balancing act of keeping a class both structured and spontaneous, trivia battles, storytelling adventures, and the occasional (controlled) debate. CELTA certified in teaching adults, Raouia believes learning should be fun, engaging, and maybe even a little dramatic. A lifelong lover of the arts, she’s been writing and performing music for over a decade, proving that creativity and language go hand in hand. Whether in the classroom or on stage, Raouia is all about helping people find their voice.

Loubna is a teacher who makes learning like an adventure. She is warm, patient and armed with an endless supply of whiteboard markers. A CELTA certified language teacher, Loubna’s teaching style combines the wisdom of an old professor with the enthusiasm of a kid on a field trip! Currently a PhD candidate, she thrives on curiosity and the joy of sharing knowledge. When she’s not teaching, you’ll find her hiking up mountains, or dominating a board game with the same strategic thinking she brings to lesson planning.

Rime believes that teaching goes beyond the transfer of knowledge; it is a commitment to guiding and inspiring students on their journey of growth. As a certified teacher, her love for poetry complements her teaching, as both are rooted in creativity, expression, and connection. In her classes, Rime fosters student interaction and engaging activities in the classroom, helping students connect with their experiences and express themselves. Education is not just about intellect; it is about character, confidence, and unlocking untapped potential. A surprising fact about Rime is that she’s actually trained in Electrical Engineering.

Ilham is a dedicated teacher who believes that teaching is a dynamic adventure for her and her students. In her classroom, lessons are fun and interactive, keeping students excited to learn. She’s very quick to build rapport with her students, and students will stay after class time to chat with her. Beyond teaching, Ilham enjoys painting. She brings her creativity into every lesson, making learning a memorable experience.

Younes is a passionate and creative educator who loves putting students at the center of everything he does. He’s all about helping his students grow—not just academically, but socially and emotionally too. Younes is always looking for new ways to make learning exciting, whether it’s through fresh curriculum ideas, exploring tech tools, or connecting with colleagues at Bridges. In his spare time, Younes loves to go fishing, and breeds birds. But that’s not all, Younes has studied jewelry making under traditional craftsmen, and has started his own line of silver jewelry!

Omar’s background in cultural studies and CELTA certification enriches his communicative and differentiated teaching approach, delivering engaging lessons that build confidence and language skills. Omar enjoys creating engaging activities like storytelling, role-playing, and games to make learning enjoyable and meaningful. Outside of teaching, he’s passionate about gaming, anime, and traveling, all of which he brings into his lessons, making his approach uniquely his!

Since 2018, Mohammed has been teaching English with a hands-on, student-centered approach that makes learning engaging and fun. Believing that teaching is a two-way street, Mohammed values the opportunity to learn from students just as much as teaching them. He is constantly learning outside the classroom as well, earning multiple certifications in English Teaching. Outside the classroom, Mohammed enjoys books, movies, live music, and exploring new experiences.

Did you know that Nieves means “snow” in Spanish? Nieves recently joined Bridges as a Spanish teacher. With years of teaching experience in Morocco and abroad, Nieves brings a rich combination of expertise, fun and laughter into the classroom. She teaches teens and adults at Bridges, but her most challenging class might be the one for Bridges teachers! Although Nieves only joined recently, she is loved by both students and colleagues alike. Nieves is a creative person, and does lots of arts and crafts, as well as pottery. She also does singing classes and sings with a choir.

Khadija has been passionate about English from a young age. Working up from volunteer work at a youth center, she has been teaching for over 8 years in Morocco and abroad. With CELTA, TKT and IELTS certifications, she continuously explores new teaching methods to create engaging lessons. Above all, Khadija ensures that her students feel seen, comfortable, and confident to learn and ask questions. When she is not in the classroom, she’s probably in the kitchen trying out new recipes!

Ahmed is a dynamic teacher who loves working with juniors and adults. Ahmed focuses on making English fun and engaging, helping students build clear communication skills. And if you were wondering, he also teaches Business English. When he's not in class, he enjoy hanging out with friends, exploring new idea, and watching movies!
