Bridges Center
Excellence in Language Teaching since 2009
Vision
Bridges Center was founded in 2009 as a student-centered language school in Rabat. Beyond teaching core language skills—speaking, listening, reading, and writing—we also focus on life skills like independent learning, self-confidence, social skills, and empathy. This holistic approach helps students thrive not just in the classroom, but in all areas of life!
What makes Bridges unique?

Incredible Teachers
At Bridges, our language teachers are the heart and soul of what we do—a dynamic, passionate, and dedicated team that makes learning not just effective, but also enjoyable. Each teacher brings their own expertise, personality and creativity to the classroom, ensuring that every lesson is engaging and tailored to the needs of their students.
With years of experience and a genuine love for teaching, they create a supportive environment where students feel confident to express themselves, make mistakes, and grow. With our teachers, learning is about real conversations, real connections, and having a great time while you learn!

Play and Project-based Learning
At Bridges, learning English is an interactive, fully involved, joyful experience thanks to the integration of Play-based and Project-Based Learning (PBL) in our classes. Everyone knows that children learn best through play by exploring and making sense of their world (this is backed by science as well). But how often do we allow our kids to actually engage in guided play? When teachers guide their young learners to use English during play time in class, the kids wind up practicing their language skills without even realizing that they’re learning! Play based learning isn’t just for kids. Our adult students are blown away when teachers bring out a board game or card game. They often don’t realize how much they miss playing and just… having fun. Project based learning is another way that students can lead their own learning in class. Project-based learning is when students work directly on a project, usually of their own choosing. While working on a project, students are practicing all four skills, but in a way that doesn’t feel like an English class. They’re also developing other skills like teamwork, creativity, imagination, problem-solving, and… joy! Examples of PBL can be creating storybooks or class magazines, planning an imaginary city, pitching a business idea, doing a fundraiser, even baking cookies.

Focus on life Skills and student Well-being
At Bridges, we believe that we have a duty to equip our students with skills that will help them in their everyday lives, in addition to teaching language skills. That’s why we integrate Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) into our curriculum, helping students build confidence, empathy, and collaboration skills alongside their language abilities. In class, students engage in activities that encourage teamwork, self-expression, and emotional awareness. Role-playing scenarios help learners practice language while navigating social interactions, and group projects foster communication and problem-solving. We also create a safe space for students to share their thoughts and experiences, building trust and mutual respect. By focusing on these skills alongside language teaching, we're preparing students for more than just speaking English. We're empowering them to connect, collaborate, and thrive in any setting. We're shaping confident communicators, both in and out of the classroom.

Individualized Support and Flexibility
Classes for kids and teens are 2.5 hours a week, rather than the standard 2 hour class. This gives us plenty of time for project work and play, and gives each student adequate time to practice speaking. Additionally, by keeping class sizes small, we create an environment where students can express themselves without feeling rushed and where teachers can focus on each learner without distractions. We also prioritize flexibility, particularly with our adult learners. Students as a group can decide on their own pacing and schedules if proposed times don’t suit their needs. Teachers welcome student input when setting learning targets and language goals

Our Other Programs
Teacher Training
With a strong focus on mentorship, the TEFL teacher training program at Bridges is all about giving new teachers the skills, knowledge, and confidence to teach English like pros, no matter where in the world they end up. Our program is built on hands-on teaching practice, reflective learning, and—most importantly—ongoing mentorship from our experienced educators. Think of them as your teaching Yodas, guiding you through the ups and downs of the classroom. With their support, you’ll gain the tools and confidence to tackle any teaching challenge and emerge as a skilled, adaptable, and totally unstoppable EFL teacher.
One To One Coaching
Our one-to-one coaching sessions are customized to fit your goals, schedule, and learning style. Whether you’re prepping for a big presentation or sales call, getting ready for a test or just trying to sound smarter at dinner parties, we’ve got you covered. These classes are ideal for:
Exam Preparation
At Bridges, we offer TOEFL, IELTS, Trinity ISE and SAT prep courses in small groups or one-on-one sessions. To join, students need to be at an Upper Intermediate level or higher (but if you’re a Beginner, don’t worry, we’ll get you there!).
Trips Abroad
Since Summer 2011, Bridges has organized over 10 incredible student trips to the USA, Japan, and Canada, packed with activities students actually love! From exploring buzzing cities and tasting local foods to diving into fun workshops, interactive tours, and even themed events like anime or tech experiences in Japan, our trips are designed to be unforgettable (and Instagram-worthy).
English Immersion summer Camps
Our English Immersion Summer Fun program is a vibrant, full-day camp designed for kids of all ages! Each week explores a new theme, blending outdoor games, cooking, photography, art, group projects, water games, and endless fun—all while immersing students in English. (Think of it as summer camp, but with a side of vocabulary!) Lunch is hassle-free: you can either buy it at Bridges or bring it from home (because no one wants a hangry camper). It’s the perfect mix of creativity, adventure, and language learning for an unforgettable summer—where else can you learn English while dodging water balloons?
We are a Trinity London College Registered Exam Center!
At the end of each academic year, our students have the option to take the Trinity London College Graded Exams in Spoken English (GESE) and receive an internationally recognized certificate.
At the end of their studies at Bridges, students can choose to take the Integrated Skills Exam (ISE), which is an internationally recognized four skills exam.
